Can I Get a Refund?

Why Gains doesn't offer refunds on completed Gold Coin purchases — and what to do about charges you don't recognize, BNPL/cash-advance purchases, and bank disputes.

Short answer: all purchases on Gains are final, and we don't offer refunds on completed Gold Coin purchases.

When a purchase fully completes, your Gold Coins (GC) are delivered to your account instantly, and any Sweeps Coins (SC) bonus is applied automatically at the same time. Because you receive everything the moment the purchase goes through, a completed purchase can't be reversed — the same way a digital product is final once it's delivered.

Two things worth knowing:

  • Sweeps Coins are always free. You never pay for Sweeps Coins, so there's nothing to refund there. A purchase only ever covers Gold Coins, which are for play and have no cash value.

  • There's no rush to use them. Your Gold Coins stay in your account until you're ready to play — a purchase is never "use it or lose it."


Charged but your coins didn't arrive?

That's a delivery question, not a refund — and in almost every case your money is safe. Usually the purchase didn't finish on our end, so no completed charge ever went through, and a pending hold simply drops off on its own. A charge you don't recognize, or a double charge

If you see a charge you didn't make, or you were billed more than once for the same purchase, contact us right away. We'll investigate and make right anything that isn't correct. Include the date, time, amount, and a screenshot of the charge so we can find it quickly.


"Buy Now, Pay Later" and cash advances

Services like Klarna, Affirm, and cash-advance products are not accepted on Gains.com. If a purchase is made with one, it will be refunded in full and any winnings generated from it removed. See Supported Payment Methods for what we do accept.


Before you dispute a charge with your bank

If something's wrong with a purchase, please contact us first — we can almost always sort it out faster than a bank dispute can. Opening a dispute on a valid purchase may place your account on hold while we review the activity, which can pause your play and any pending redemptions.


Refunds are handled under our Terms of Service and Sweepstakes Rules. Purchases are non-refundable except where a refund is required by applicable law.
