Why Do I Need to Verify My Account?

At Gains.com, we prioritize safety, compliance, and responsible gaming — which is why account verification is a key part of your experience.

Why Verification Matters

There are two main reasons we ask players to verify their accounts:

  1. State Compliance
As a social sweepstakes casino, we only allow gameplay from users in approved states. Verification ensures that players are physically located in eligible U.S. states and not accessing Gains.com from restricted jurisdictions. This helps us stay legally compliant and protect the integrity of our platform.

  2. Age Requirements
To promote responsible gaming, all players must be 18 or older (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction). Verification helps us ensure that no underage users are accessing the site.

How to Verify Your Account

Verification is fast, secure, and powered by Persona, our trusted identity verification partner. Here’s how you can complete the process:

  1. Log into your Gains account

  2. Click the “Redeem” button on the top navigation bar

  3. You’ll be automatically prompted to begin the verification process

  4. Follow the Persona instructions to submit your government-issued ID and selfie

  5. Once approved, you’ll be eligible to redeem Sweeps Coin (SC) winnings

Note: You only need to verify once — and we’ll notify you by email once your verification is complete.

What Happens If I Don’t Verify?

You can still play and enjoy the platform without verifying your account, but you won’t be able to redeem SC prizes until verification is complete. This is to comply with sweepstakes regulations and ensure fair play for all users.

Is My Information Safe?

Yes. We use bank-grade encryption and partner with industry-trusted vendors like Persona to protect your data. Your personal information is never shared outside of what’s required to confirm your identity.
